NeNe Leakes is honoring her late husband, Gregg Leakes, by remembering their last moments together. On Sunday, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared a video dedicated to Gregg on her YouTube page titled, "I'm lost without you."

"My life was turned upside down after losing my husband Gregg, now I'm forced to navigate life alone after sharing it with my partner of 27 years," the video's description reads. "I have taken time to reflect and now look forward to new beginnings. I'm hopeful for what life will bring and welcome you to witness my journey."

The video features photos and videos of Gregg, who died in 2021 at the age of 66 following his battle with colon cancer, with a voiceover from NeNe describing the couple's final night and the celebration of life that followed Gregg's death.

"The morning of Sept. 1, 2021, my whole life changed," NeNe begins her narration before she launches into her recollection of the night before and the morning of Gregg's passing. 

"That morning I came downstairs, Gregg looked totally different than the way he had previously looked and I got really upset," the reality star recalls. "I was like, 'Oh my God, what happened to Gregg? What have you guys done to him?' I was pulling and fighting and kind of like, just trying to take his shirt off and he was just totally different. He had not ever been this way... Yes, I knew he was passing but I just thought somebody had done something to Gregg."

NeNe shares that the house she called home with Gregg was filled with people during his last few weeks, explaining that all of their children and Gregg's family "never left his side." Gregg has six children -- Daryl, Damian, Dexter, Denton, Katrina as well as his and NeNe's son, Brentt. He was also a stepdad to NeNe's son, Bryson, whom she had from a previous relationship.

In a touching video titled “I’m lost without you” shared on YouTube, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star compiled a series of photos and videos of Gregg — who died from colon cancer in September 2021 at age 66 — and recalled the couple’s last night together as well as his celebration of life in a voiceover.

"The morning of Sept. 1, 2021, my whole life changed," NeNe, 55, began, sharing how his condition had worsened due to his colon cancer towards the end of his life. "That morning I came downstairs, Gregg looked totally different than the way he had previously looked and I got really upset.”

"I was like, 'Oh my God, what happened to Gregg? What have you guys done to him?'” she continued, recalling how she questioned his hospice caretakers. “He was pulling and fighting and kind of like, just trying to take his shirt off and he was just totally different. He had not ever been this way... Yes, I knew he was passing but I just thought somebody had done something to Gregg."

While Gregg usually denied taking morphine or other pain medications, NeNe instructed his caretaker to give him a little medication after Greg looked “very confused” and was “struggling to breathe.”

Knowing that he was “close to passing,” the reality star recalled filling their home with Gregg’s loved ones who “never left his side.” His six children — Daryl, Damian, Dexter, Denton, Katrina, their shared son Brentt and her son Bryson — were with him during his final days.

His friends and family spent time with him “around the clock” for several minutes

Following the news that Gregg Leakes has passed away at the age of 66 after a battle with cancer, he was remembered by members of the Bravo family with tributes pouring in that recalled fond memories of Nene Leakes' husband.

"I am heartbroken over the passing of Gregg Leakes, a wonderful man. I jokingly called him 'Pastor Leakes' but in truth he was a strong voice of reason [and] commanded great respect among the entire RHOA team," Andy Cohentweeted. "I am sending love and strength to [Nene and] the entire Leakes family."

"Truly heartbreaking news," Porsha Williams shared on Instagram. "Love and prayers for dear Nene [and] the Leakes family. Speechless. We love you Gregg."

Kim Zolciak-Biermann wrote on Instagram, "So heartbreaking. I’m so sorry for this tragic loss Nene. I am sending you and your entire family lots of love and prayers. Gregg was literally one of kind. Never waivered amongst the drama. Gregg was ALWAYS kind, considerate, and the calm in any storm. He was the peaceful voice of reason and will be greatly missed by so many. His legacy lives on in you and the boys. Until we meet again, may you rest in Paradise, Gregg."

Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill also remembered Gregg following his passing. "Heartbroken," she wrote alongside a photo of her with Nene, Gregg, and Mike "This is one of my favorite photos of us. It brings back such fond memories. It was [Mike's] birthday [and] we invited a few of our friends over for a last minute gathering at Lake Bailey. Out of nowhere, Gregg asked to pray for Mike and I. For our love [and] our relationship. He was [the] first person to actually pray for us as a couple. It was so heartfelt and so beautiful. We were all so touched and blown away by his words. In a beautiful tribute shared to Instagram on Wednesday, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star opened up about some of the things she missed the most following his death in 2021 at age 66 from colon cancer. 

"Happy Heavenly Birthday Gregg!" NeNe, 55, wrote alongside two photos of him eating his favorite meal and the couple sharing a kiss. "Today you would be out eating your favorite foods! French Fries and chicken tenders 😂 I love you for that."

"It was the simple things about you that got me every time! I love you and miss you more than words can say! My Man My Man My Mannnn❤️," she continued.

The Bravolebrity’s celebratory sentiments didn’t stop there. 

On her Instagram Story, NeNe shared a series of photos from her trip to her late husband’s mausoleum.

One of the pictures showed the reality star reaching towards his final resting place while wearing a matching burgundy colored silk set while another gave fans a close up of his plaque. 

It read, "Forever in our hearts. Gregory Leon Leakes. August 16, 1954-September 2, 2021."

The last slide featured a throwback photo of the couple where NeNe could be seen embracing Gregg from behind during a night out to a restaurant.

Back in September 2021, PEOPLE reported that Gregg had died "peacefully" in his home.

Gregg, who was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer in 2018, had been in remission for two years. In June 2021, NeNe revealed he was hospitalized and recovering from surgery after his cancer returned.
