Richard Campbell (born 8 February 1983) is a British actor.
Career
He is best known for his comedic turn as local bully "Tyrone" in British film Anuvahood and his role of Ndale Kayuni in Waterloo Road.
Campbell has won a Screen Nation Award for his portrayal of Dominic Hardy in TV show The Bill.
His work has included Breathless, Mid Morning Matters with Alan Partridge, and recurring roles in The Silence and Channel 4 drama Top Boy. As a film actor, Campbell has appeared in Wilderness, The Plague, The Firm, Victim, Fast Girls, and Get Lucky. In addition, Campbell has done extensive work in West End theatre including, Dirty Butterfly at Young Vic Theatre, Lower Ninth at the Donmar Warehouse, Truth and Reconciliation at Royal Court Theatre and in 2013 playing Tom Robinson alongside Robert Sean Leonard as Atticus Fitch in To Kill A Mockingbird at Regents Park Open Air Theatre.

Richie Campbell (born 1986) is the artistic name for the portuguese Reggae / Dancehall singer Ricardo Ventura da Costa.
He started in the band Stepacide in 2010 and he was a part of the project No Joke Sound System. He eventually left both of the projects in 2010 so he could focus on his solo career. In 2010 he debuted his first album My path, available for free download and he released an EP in the 6th Optimus Discos series, run by Henrique Amaro.
He became famous with the album "Focused", of which the track "That's How We Roll" stood out and was nominated to the 2013 Golden Globes
In 2012 he began the Tour Focused. His last tour concerts were in Porto and Lisbon, where he recorded Live at Campo Pequeno, which was released in 2014, in Cd and DVD.
On the 4th May 2015, he released, without a previous announcement, his album "In the 876", which reached the ITunes top of sales in only 2 hours. This album was recorded in Kingston and Lisbon. Its name is a reference to the Jamaican phone indicative.
Richie Campbell works and sings live with his band called The 911 Band, which was considered as the best "backing band" reggae in Portugal, and is consisted by elements of bands as One Sun Tribe, Kussondulola, (One Love Family), etc.

Richie started out in the music business making his debut with the Reggae Dancehall band, Stepacide (feb. 2004). Later he joined the No Joke Soundsystem as a toaster and is now working also on a paralel solo project, voicing riddims.
Richie has already been featured on several mixtapes all over Europe and has voiced dubplates for such sounds as Soundquake, Mighty Crown (5 time World Clash Champions), Kanga Roots, City Lock (Riddim Clash Champion 2009).
In 2008 the release of "Held In" on Supersonic's Devils Angels Riddim carried Richie into the 4th position on Soundquake.com's TOP SALES chart. In the same year the hardcore reality tune "Dem Say Dem a Gangsta" enjoyed a lot of success being played in every dance across Europe and featured on some of the most important Soundclashes of the year.
Presently Richie Campbell is promoting his debut album entitled "My Path" which is available for free download at www.mediafire.com. The album takes you through Richie's "path" in music and life in the past 3 years, with songs ranging from Reggae to Soul and Dancehall.

Early life and career beginnings
Richie Campbell was born Ricardo Dias de Lima Ventura da Costa, in the city of Lisbon. His musical career started with the band Stepacide; during that time he was also part of the project No Joke Sound System. He eventually left both projects so he could focus on his solo career. In 2010 he made his debut with the mixtape My Path, along with the homonymous EP Richie Campbell. In 2011, he became the first artist to fill Campo Pequeno without being signed to any recording label.
Focused and international projection
The release of his debut album Focused in 2012 gave the artist international projection, with the track "That's How We Roll" standing out and being nominated at the 2013 Portuguese Golden Globes, in the "Best Music" category. The Focused Tour started in 2012; his last concert in Lisbon was recorded live at Campo Pequeno and released in CD and DVD in 2014. Richie Campbell was nominated for the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Portuguese Act at the 2013 and at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards.
