Gabriela Piedade Martins (Belo Horizonte, 12 de dezembro de 1996), mais conhecida como Gabi Martins, é uma cantora e compositorabrasileira. Foi participante da vigésima temporada do Big Brother Brasil em 2020.

Biografia

Gabi iniciou sua paixão na música desde cedo, por influência do seu pai, sua irmã e sua mãe, que a matriculou em aulas de canto. Aos 16, já estava tocando em barzinhos e boates, e assim decidiu deixar a faculdade de odontologia que cursava para seguir carreira na música. Em 2013, criou um canal no Youtube e passou a publicar covers de músicas dos cantores Luan Santana, Wesley Safadão, Lucas Lucco e Gusttavo Lima, o que fez ela ganhar visibilidade na internet. Em abril de 2018, gravou em São Paulo o seu primeiro DVD auto-intitulado, que foi lançado no dia 14 de setembro de 2018. Seu maior single de sucesso é a canção "Neném", que tocou em estações de rádio por todo o país e alcançou a 9° posição no Top 100 Brasil por onze semanas. Ela promoveu a canção nos programas de TV Programa da Sabrina, The Noite com Danilo Gentili, Programa Raul Gil, SóTocaTop (como a "Aposta Artista" da semana) e Hora do Faro. Em 2020, participou da vigésima temporada do Big Brother Brasil, como uma das convidadas do Grupo Camarote. Foi a décima primeira eliminada do programa com 59,61% dos votos, após disputar o paredão contra Babu Santana e Thelma Assis. Após sua saída no reality, sua canção "Neném" estreou no TOP 50 das músicas mais tocadas do Spotify no Brasil. Atualmente, sua carreira é agenciada pela agência Brasilera Digital.

Maria Bethania Viana Teles Veloso, better known as Maria Bethânia (Santo Amaro da Purificação, Bahia, 18 June 1946).

Maria Bethania is a Brazilian singer who has the record of being the second best-selling female artist in Brazil, and the biggest in MPB, with 26 million copies. She goes by the nickname Abelha-rainha (Queen Bee) because of the first verse of the song on her 1979 LP Mel.

Maria Bethania is considered by many Brazilians to be one of the greatest singers in Brazilian history. She is the younger sister of composer Caetano Veloso and poet and writer Mabel Velloso.

Season of television series

The fifth season of The Voice Kids, premiered on TV Globo on January 5, 2020 in the 1:00 / 12:00 p.m. (BRT / AMT) daytime slot.

On March 18, 2020, TV Globo announced that the live shows which were scheduled to begin on March 29 (following a two-week hiatus due to the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix scheduled broadcast), would be postponed until later in the year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Five episodes featuring highlights from the blind auditions and the battles aired during the hiatus.

On August 7, 2020, TV Globo confirmed that the season would return on September 13, 2020, with a special pre-taped episode. The live shows were reduced from five to four and changed to remote shows with pre-recorded performances at the contestants' home.

On September 11, 2020, Claudia Leitte announced that she would not return for the final stage of the competition and her team would be coached by singer Mumuzinho instead, thus making it the first season to have two afro-Brazilian coaches.

On October 11, 2020, Kauê Penna from Team Brown won the competition with 50.50% of the final vote over Maria Eduarda Ribeiro (Team Claudia / Mumuzinho) and Paulo Gomiz (Team Simone & Simaria). This marks Brown's first and only win as a coach in the Kids series, thus becoming the first coach to win both versions of the show in Brazil until Michel Teló accomplished the same thing the following season.
