Healing touch Technology
In this academic presentation we will look into some facets of human element that affects our day-today working of hospital. Understanding of these aspects of human behavior has as much impact on the physical and mental well-being of a healthcare staff members as on the patient's. Healthcare industry is by its inherent nature a service industry that bases its existence on the noble aim of caring for the human life. And therefore, it feels odd when we have to discuss human interface and its value in Healthcare industry. More often than not, one engrosses oneself, in the stress and strain of the working environment so much, as to forget the basic niceties of human interactions & communication.
To be nice to others in a natural instinct in most human beings. However, in most of them, it may not be expressed spontaneously. Luckily though, it can be easily developed as a acquired skill that can have tremendous mutual benefits to patient and relatives and the caregiver. Generally the etiquettes of behavior and caring attitudes to other humans are collectively called the soft skills.

American publisher, editor, and writer of children's books (–)
Ursula Nordstrom (February 2, – October 11, ) was publisher and editor-in-chief of juvenile books at Harper & Row from to She is credited with presiding over a transformation in children's literature in which morality tales written for adult approval gave way to works that instead appealed to children's imaginations and emotions.
She also authored the children's book, The Secret Language. A collection of her correspondence was published in as Dear Genius: the Letters of Ursula Nordstrom.
Early life and education
Ursula Nordstrom was born on February 2, in New York City to vaudeville comedians Henry E. Dixey and Marie Nordstrom. Her father was one of the most famous American actors at the time, and was roughly thirty years older than Marie Ursula Nordstrom; the pair co-starred in the play, Mary Jane's Pa and were married in She was raised in Manhattan until the age of seven, when her parents divorced and she began attending Winnwood School in Lake Grove and later, Northfield Seminary in Massachusetts. Although Nordstrom had hopes of becoming a writer and wanted to continue her education at Bryn Mawr College, she was prevented by her stepfather, Elliott R. Brown and instead took secretarial and business courses at The Scudder School for Girls.
Career
Nordstrom was first hired at Harper & Brothers (now HarperCollins) in as a clerk in the College Textbook department. In , she became the assistant of Ida Louise Raymond, the director of Harper Books for Boys and Girls, who helped publish the work of Laura Ingalls Wilder and Clare Turlay Newberry.
